You've climbed up the 60-foot observation tower and are now standing on the first platform as you get checks, practice and rechecks on your equipment. You look at your Canopy Guide, who smiles and gives you the "thumbs up" and you hear "ARE YOU READY?" Are you ready to challenge yourself on one of the longest and highest canopy tours in the world? With over a mile and a half of cable and several places over 200 feet high, the phrase "Tree Flight" definitely applies. You will zip line and traverse the cable and lily pad bridges from tree platform to tree platform as well as crisscross up to five times over the beautiful Snake Creek Gorge.
As you go in and out and over the trees, take advantage of the "bird's eye view" below. You may see one of our nesting pair of red tail hawks, a beautiful and slender gray heron or even an eagle. You might even catch a view of otters frolicking in the 100 ft wide cascading Snake Creek. Look for the paper mill ruins too! It was one of ten mills that operated in the bustling 1800's mill town of Banning. Your journey can end with a beautiful and scenic walk along Snake Creek, a hike in the beautiful setting along the ridges of the Gorge or with a 1500 ft long high-speed Zip Line that can reach speeds of 60 miles per hour.

We offer this fun and challenging adventure for groups as small as 2 to over 100 people. This is an ultimate fun and safe experience of a lifetime. Reserve Your Tree Flight Zip Line Canopy Tour Today! Please call for times. RSVP is required. Participants must be at least 10 years old, and weigh at least 100 pounds and not over 300 pounds. A minimum of 2 participants are required to open the course. Time needed for tours is 2 to 4 hours depending on tour chosen and the number of people in your group. Children under 18, who are not with a scheduled group, must have parent or guardian present. We are Member of ACCT and are inspected only by ACCT approved inspectors. Some restrictions apply. The cost is $65 per person for the "Pattern" Tour, ad $20 per person for the "Pattern Plus" Tour.The Extreme Tour is a total of $129 per person to Include all three. Pattern tour: Can take up to two hours and includes our two 1000ft zip lines and a series of cable and wood bridges and shorter zip lines that will keep you in the air from 50 to 200ft high the whole time. Pattern Plus: Can take 2 to 2 1/2 hours. This is the pattern tour and our really big 1500 ft zip line called the Big Daddy! You will then do a short zip to the ground and walk back to the main lodge on our beautiful trails, some of which are the old town roads and old water raceways of the ghost town of Banning. Extreme: Can take up to 4 hours because it includes all three.This is the pattern plus tour and then you will continue on by criss crossing back and forth over the gorge on long and high cable and wood bridges. Breath taking! *This tour requires a little physical exertion. You should be able to climb normal stairs in two 60 ft towers, walk a half mile and have some balance capabilities. Please feel free to call us if you are not sure. This is not recommended for those with severe respiratory problems, severe heart problems or those who are in their mid to last trimester of pregnancy.

Cancellation policy To ensure a quality experience, tours are offered by reservation only. When you book a tour, we schedule Guides and other support staff to be available to make your Tree Flight adventure as wonderful as possible. For this reason, we require a cancellation notice of 24 hours. If you fail to meet your appointment, we still incur all the same expenses and may have turned others away. Therefore, those guests who fail to show for a reservation or cancel without proper notice will be charged 50% of the tour price. A Credit card hold is necessary to make a reservation unless other arrangements are made. We do take cash and credit cards as payment. Weather: We will not run tours in storms, high winds, or "close in" lightening (5 miles). It is important to remember that foul weather in your area does not necessarily mean foul weather at Banning Mills. Please call first if you have concerns about the weather. We will call only if we are certain your tour will not run. In some cases, tours may be postponed to allow for some weather systems to pass.
